About Drug Discovery Chemistry Europe
Today’s Synthetic Molecules for Tomorrow’s Therapeutics
10-12 November, 2026 | InterContinental Barcelona | Barcelona, Spain + Virtual
Following more than 20 years of Drug Discovery Chemistry in the US, Drug Discovery Chemistry Europe is now in its 3rd Annual edition, created to bring this established program to Europe’s dynamic drug discovery community.
Building on the success of the US series, the European event offers a more accessible, regionally focused forum for scientists across pharma, biotech, and academia to engage with cutting-edge science, exchange ideas, and build meaningful collaborations.
What is Drug Discovery Chemistry Europe?
A curated in-person and virtual conference for drug discovery scientists seeking practical insights and cross-disciplinary collaboration. The program is structured around four core tracks:
Lead Generation Strategies
Covers modern hit-finding approaches beyond traditional screening, including DNA-encoded, fragment, and virtual libraries. Focuses on hit evaluation, integrated workflows, and AI-enabled decision-making from hit to lead, supported by real-world case studies.
AI/ML for Drug Discovery
Examines how AI is shaping discovery decisions through pharma, biotech, and academic case studies. Emphasis is placed on practical implementation, challenges, and opportunities in accelerating new targets and modalities.
Next-Gen Degraders: Glues & Conjugates
Highlights advances in targeted protein degradation, including PROTACs, molecular glues, and degrader-antibody conjugates (DACs), with a focus on design strategies, predictive models, and translational challenges.
Targeting PPIs with Peptides & Small Molecules
Addresses the challenges of protein–protein interaction drugging and emerging solutions across small molecules, peptides, biophysics, and AI/ML-enabled design, supported by case studies of successful PPI-targeted agents.
